    Implementation ot the Project Based Learning ( PJBL) Model to Improve Collaborative Skills in Grade V Students of Science Courses at SDN 1 Watubelah Aslinda*, Nurkholis , Diana Setiana Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon, Cirebon, 45611, Indonesia ARTICLE INFO A B S T R A C T Article history: Received: xx-xx-xx Revised: xx-xx-xx Accepted: xx-xx-xx Published online: xx-xx-xx This research was motivated by the low level of collaborative skills in the IPAS subject among fifth- grade students, as well as their limited ability to work together, communicate, and complete tasks in groups. The study aims to: (1) examine the planning of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve collaborative skills among fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SDN 1 Watubelah; (2) examine the implementation of learning using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve collaborative skills among fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SDN 1 Watubelah; and (3) examine the learning outcomes of students using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to enhance collaborative skills among fifth- grade students in the IPAS subject at SDN 1 Watubelah. The method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of two cycles, where each cycle included one meeting with stages covering planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 25 students. The results showed that students’ collaborative skills increased from 36% in the pre-cycle to 68% in cycle I, and 88% in cycle II. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was able to create interactive learning experiences for students. This model has the potential to be implemented more broadly in elementary school learning.
