ABSTRACT Development of Enriched Media (Cultural Wealth Diorama) to Improve Student Learning Activities on Cultural Wealth Material in Grade IV of SDN 3 Babakan Muhammad Nurfaisal Sidik Email:nurfaisalsidikm03@gmail.com Abstract: This study aims to develop a three-dimensional diorama-based learning media entitled DIKAYA (Diorama of Cultural Wealth) to improve student learning activities in Social Sciences (IPS) learning on the theme "The Beauty of Diversity in My Country" in grade IV of SDN 3 Babakan. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall model which has been simplified into six stages, namely: (1) analysis of potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design planning, (4) design validation, (5) product revision, and (6) product trial. The media developed depicts the diversity of Indonesian culture in a concrete and visual way, and is adapted to the characteristics of students at the concrete operational stage. The validation results from material experts obtained a score of 83% (very valid), and from media experts 92% (very valid). The product trial showed that students were very enthusiastic, more active, and easily understood the learning material through this media. The conclusion of this study is that DIKAYA media is suitable for use as an alternative learning media that is effective in increasing student activity and understanding of cultural diversity material. This media is also relevant to the Independent Curriculum learning approach which is oriented towards active participation and contextual learning.
