    DEVELOPING LISTENING SKILL MATERIAL IN MODUL BAHAN AJAR BAHASA INGGRIS Silvia1 , Susilawati2, Siniawati3 Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon123 Silviacell1302@gmai.com, s_asmoro@umc.ac.id, sirniawati@umc.ac.id Abstract: According to the preliminary survey in a junior/Islamic junior high school, it is found that listening skills are one of the important aspects in learning English, Listening skills are the ability to receive, to understand, and to process information through audio recordings of conversations, stories, or certain events. this study aims to develop a learning module in the field of listening skills at the junior high school/Islamic junior high school level in grade 8. The module is designed to help students improve their ability to understand foreign languages and train students to use audio listening. This study involved 15 students, 1 English teacher, curriculum experts at the school, and English language education lecturers this study used the R&D method from Sugiyono (2009) and used the Borg and Gall model, which has 6 steps in creating this learning module ; needs analysis, designing a learning module design for teaching materials, designing products, product trials, and disseminating. This is done based on product trials, product validation, and dissemination. By going through these stages, the listening skill learning module can be used by the students and teachers which can be accessed at home or at school. In addition to making it easier for teachers and students, it is also hoped that this module book can train students in receiving, understanding, and comprehending information from conversations or stories.
