  PERAN PEMERINTAH DESA UNTUK MENDORONG PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMBANGUNAN INFRASTRUKTUR (Studi Di Desa Losari Lor Kecamatan Losari Kabupaten Brebes Majidatun Awaliyah Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Program Studi Ilmu Pemerintahan Email : majidatunawaliyah@gmail.com Abstract : This research aims to find out how infrastructure development in Losari Village, Losari District, Brebes Regency, cannot be separated from the active role of the village government and community participation. Primary data in this research was obtained from interviews with informants, while secondary data was obtained from documents, articles and literary sources related to this research. Based on the results of research in the field, the role of the Village Government in encouraging community participation in infrastructure development in Losari Lor village can be said to be quite good, it can be seen from the role of the village government in social animation, mediation and negotiation and facilitation. Likewise, with community participation in the planning and implementation process, at each stage of development, the community is free to convey their aspirations, needs, ideas and suggestions. Infrastructure development looks at growth and change which ensures that the infrastructure is adapted to the needs and aspirations of the community. Good cooperation between the Losari Lor village government and the community has produced various infrastructure that is beneficial for residents and the village government will continue to strive to increase community participation for the progress of the village. Keywords: Village Government, Community Participation, Infrastructure Development Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembangunan infrastruktur di Desa Losari Kecamatan Losari Kabupaten Brebes, tidak dapat dilepaskan dari peran aktif pemerintah desa dan partisipasi masyarakat. Data primer dalam penelitian ini di peroleh dari hasil wawancara dengan informan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen, artikel dan sumber-sumber literatur yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan bahwa Peran Pemerintah Desa untuk medorong partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan infrastruktur di desa losari lor dapat dikatakan cukup baik, dapat dilihat dari peran pemerintah desa dalam animasi sosial, mediasi dan negosiasi serta fasilitasi. Demikian juga pada partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan yang disetiap tahapan pembangunannya, masyarakat bebas menyampaikan, aspirasi, kebutuhan, ide dan saran mereka. Dalam pembangunan infrastruktur dilihat dari pertumbuhan dan perubahan yang memastikan infrastrukturnya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan aspirasi masyarakat. Kerja sama yang baik antara pemerintah desa losari lor dan masyarakat menghasilkan berbagai infrastruktur yang bermanfaat bagi warga dan pemerintah desa akan terus berupaya meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat demi kemajuan desa.
