  PROSES KOMUNIKASI ANTAR PERSONAL PADA HUBUNGAN PACARAN TOXIC RELATIONSHIP PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS MUHAMADIYAH CIREBON Ahmad Rafindra Riyadi Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon Abstack This study aims to explore how the interpersonal communication process occurs in toxic dating relationships among students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC). Using a qualitative approach and descriptive method, the study describes and analyzes the forms of communication that occur in toxic relationships. The results show that communication in toxic relationships is characterized by negative verbal communication, low levels of trust, high jealousy, as well as physical and psychological violence. This communication leads to tension and emotional instability in the relationship, which negatively impacts the mental and physical well-being of the students. Keywords: Communication, Dating, Toxic Relationship, Students, Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana proses komunikasi antar personal dalam hubungan pacaran yang bersifat toxic di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bentuk komunikasi yang terjadi dalam hubungan toxic relationship. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi dalam toxic relationship ditandai dengan adanya komunikasi verbal yang negatif, rendahnya kepercayaan, kecemburuan yang tinggi, serta tindakan kekerasan fisik dan psikis. Komunikasi ini menyebabkan ketegangan dan ketidakstabilan emosional dalam hubungan, yang berdampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan mental dan fisik mahasiswa.
