  This study aims to find out the first, whether there is an influence of the Discovery learning learning model on increasing learning outcomes in vibration and wave material for junior high school students. Second, use of the application of the Discovery Learning model in improving learning outcomes on vibration and wave material for junior high school students. The research used quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental Design approach. The population of this study were 50 students consisting of class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII B as the control class at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Cirebon. The instruments used were observation sheets and tests. This statistical data collection technique was assisted by SPSS 22 for Windows. Based on the results of statistical analysis using a hypothesis test (paired sample T-test) it was concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted because Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the application of the Discovery Learning model affects the results student learning to improve learning outcomes on vibration and wave material. And based on the results of observations made in the experimental class, which totaled 19 students, obtained an average score of 86% which was in the very good category, which means that the application of the discovery learning model can be applied to junior high school students to improve learning outcomes.
